10 Things You Didn't Know About Batman

1. 'I€™m Chibatman'

Despite the afore-mentioned costs of becoming Batman, some people are still willing to plough their resources into emulating their hero, and few have done a better job of it than a man from Japan. The Chiba prefecture of Japan lies in the Greater Tokyo Area of the country, which was badly affected by the 2011 Tohoku earthquake €“ the most powerful earthquake ever recorded in this part of the world. The effects of the quake, the resultant tsunami and the Fukushima nuclear disaster devastated parts of the country, either damaging or destroying countless buildings, causing mass evacuations and claiming thousands of lives. Even with the Justice League on hand Batman would struggle to contain such carnage, but a 41-year-old welder is doing his bit to cheer everyone up. The resident of Chiba €“ since dubbed €˜Chibatman€™ €“ has fought a one-man war against apathy, dressing up in a replica costume and taking to the streets on his custom-made Batpod. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2CzHFhZFk3g For over three years now, there have been sightings of Chibatman all over the city, who informed reporters: €œDuring the great earthquake, people forgot how to smile. I wanted to help bring the smile back, and that€™s why I started.€ He keeps his identity a secret and his crusade has received the approval of local police authorities, along with the promise of assistance whenever necessary. Sadly, no sign of a Bat-Signal as yet, but hopefully it€™s just a matter of time. Bat fans share your bat facts below.

I watch movies and I watch sport. I also watch movies about sport, and if there were a sport about movies I'd watch that too. The internet was the closest thing I could find.
