10 Things You Didn't Know About Green Lantern

2. There€™s Been Crossovers With Daffy Duck

Warner Bros have, surprisingly, done little to utilise their ownership of both the Looney Tunes and DC Universes. Many Marvel fans predicted similar crossover with Mickey Mouse and company when Disney bought that company, but really, they should have looked to the closest comparison: superheroes and Looney Tunes have never mixed. With the one major exception of an episode of the 2003 series Duck Dodgers, a spin-off of the old Duck Dodgers In The 24½th Century short spoofing Buck Rogers, where Daffy Duck managed to get his laundry mixed up with...Hal Jordan, voiced by Kevin Smith! The episode sees Daffy fighting Sinestro and doing other GL business. The episode also sees Duck Dodgers coining his own version of the Green Lantern Oath, quoting both Batman and the Pledge Of Allegiance in the process: €œIn blackest day or brightest night / Watermelon, cantaloupe, yadda yadda / Erm... superstitious and cowardly lot / With liberty and justice for all!€ Hal turns up the end and, thankfully, they swap outfits.
