10 Things You Didn't Know About Mr. Freeze

7. He Appeared In Smallville (Sort Of)

Mr Freeze has actually had a fair few appearances in non-comics media at this point. Along with Arnie's pun-tastic turn in Batman & Robin and that revitalising turn in both the sixties and Animated Series, he's also shown up in basically every other Dark Knight-related TV show (voiced by Clancy Brown in The Batman!) and even elsewhere. Like, say, Smallville. By the end of that Young Superman show the series had pretty much abandoned the concept of never showing anything beyond Clark Kent's early years, introducing a proto-Justice League, Lois Lane, Metropolis, and even the Daily Planet. Still, he didn't put the cape on until the finale, so still counts right? The show ended but lives on in a comic book sequel, which has apparently run out of Superman villains to pit him against and started on Batman's rogues gallery instead. He finds himself partnered with the Prankster of Intergang, with the pair of them going on a criminal rampage before Green Arrow stops them.
