7. He Trained Deathstroke's Daughter
In Nightwing #112, Dick took up the villanous mantle of "the Renegade" to infiltrate Lex Luthor's Secret Society of Supervillains from the inside. Deathstroke, Nightwing's arch nemesis, wasn't sold on the idea of Dick resigning as a hero, requesting he train his daughter to test his allegiance.
Dick proceeded to take Ravager (Deathstroke's Daughter) on several missions and trained her in most of his skills. However, she grew not only suspicious but also attracted to him. Most women in the DC Universe tend to do the latter.
To further test Dick's loyalty, Deathstroke replaced his daughter's eye with a Kryptonite-carved eye, sending her and Dick to kill Superman. During the fight, she slipped off a building only for Superman to catch her. This led Dick teaching her one final lesson: that even though Supe's life was in jeopardy, he still puts the safety of others in front of his own.
Nightwing came to an agreement with Deathstroke that he would stop training Ravager to be a hero as long as Deathstroke remained out of Bludhaven. As for Ravager, she developed some severe daddy issues after she discovered the chronic carcinogenic effects of the space rock he placed in her eye for his personal gain.
