8. Hitler Was Scared Of Him
Many real-life figures have been shown to exist in the Marvel Universe. Spider-Man met Barrack Obama, the cast of Saturday Night Live fought X-Men villain Silver Samurai, and Adolf Hitler did pretty much all of the horrific things he did in real life
History in the Marvel Universe mostly follows our own, to a point. Hitler's pretty much the same in the comics, except he was punched by Captain America on more than one occasion and he counted the Red Skull as his second-in-command. Which provided a nice bit of Red Skull characterisation: he's so depraved, even Hitler was scared of him.
During World War II as a member of the Nazi party, the Red Skull was granted command of his own kill squad, who routinely wiped out whole villages for no reason and bombed random strips of land. Plus he did weird genetic experiments on people, tortured them, that kind of thing.
