10 Things You Didn't Know About Spider-Gwen
1. Her Secret Identity Was Revealed
Taking control of Venom made it so Gwen regained her powers for good this time. The Hand was no more, and Matt Murdock was far from Gwen Stacy's life.
But there was still something wrong; she couldn't handle the grief. The actions she committed as Gwenom were atrocious, and she needed to do something to take responsibility. And so, after doing some soul searching and revisiting the Brooklyn Bridge, she came clean - walking up to J. Jonah Jameson himself, unmasking herself and revealing to the world that Spider-Woman is Gwen Stacy.
She was arrested, convicted, and sentenced to one year in S.H.I.E.L.D. Maximum Security Prison for her crimes. Even after Captain America offered her Black Ops missions for a reduced sentence, she still served her time in total.
Yet, even after all of this, Gwen Stacy learned to embrace her Spider-Woman persona. Letting go of all her past trauma and proudly claiming to the world that she is Spider-Gwen as she continues to help people and do what she does best.
