The Mighty Thor Jane Foster Death
Marvel Comics

The Dark Elf Malekith and the Dark Council staged a full-on invasion of Midgard. After her successful chemotherapy and her health began to return, Jane aided in getting the refugees to safety. She also encounters Valkyrie and Frigga, confirming for them that she was the Thor that defeated the Mangog. When Odin and Frigga had to depart to take a team of Earth heroes to prepare a counterattack, Frigga appoints Jane to be All-Mother of Asgard in her absence.

Jane joined the fight in New York but was overrun and had to retreat with the other heroes to Avengers Mountain. Seeing the defeated hero forces, Jane gave a rousing speech to rally the heroes. She stated that Odin and Freyja may be dead but they destroyed the Black Bifrost, and Malekith could no longer get reinforcements and they could use that to their advantage. Thor interrupted her speech saying that he will lead the fight against Malekith.

Jane Foster and S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Roz Solomon lead an assault on the Roxxon Corporation that had been assisting Malekith in his invasion. Agents of Wakanda Broo and Gorilla Man reconnected the networks that Roxxon disabled, but they were attacked and were saved by Foster, Solomon, Blade, Ka-Zar, and a group of the Vanir. Jane, using Odin’s spear Gungir and Roz using a gun with vibranium bullets, defeated Dario Agger, the Minotaur CEO of Roxxon.
