10 Things You Didn't Know About The Sinister Six

1. Sam Raimi Wanted Them To Face Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man

Sam Raimi's Spider-Man franchise came to end with the pretty abysmal Spider-Man 3, but there were initially plans to continue the original trilogy with a fourth movie. That said, Sam Raimi wasn't even sure if he'd be the one directing it had it actually been made but, if he had, he said he wanted to bring in the Sinister Six. Specifically, he had this to say:
I would love to see Electro, Vulture, maybe the Sinister Six as a team.
Who would have joined Electro and Vulture is anybody's guess; the Green Goblin was dead, Doctor Octopus was dead, New Goblin was dead and had redeemed himself anyway, Sandman and Spider-Man had resolved their differences and the Venom symbiote had been destroyed. It will, therefore, always remain a mystery as to how Raimi's Sinister Six might have turned out. So there you have it - ten things you didn't know about the Sinister Six. Did you enjoy this article?
