6. Their First Comic Can Be Worth More Than $28,000
The first appearance of the Sinister Six - which came in The Amazing Spider-Man Annual #1 January 1964 - which saw the first unholy alliance between Doctor Octopus, Vulture, Electro, Kraven the Hunter, Mysterio and Sandman, has recently sold in mint condition for $28,643. This price, of course, was based on the fifty-one-year-old comic being in great condition and anything less than pristine would obviously fetch less cash. That said, with such an old comic - and with it housing the introduction of one of the most iconic teams in comic book history - even a poor condition specimen could bring in a couple of hundred dollars.
