10 Things You Need To Know About X-Men's Domino
1. She Leads The Mercs For Money
Domino and Deadpool actually have quite a long history together, debuting in the same issue (New Mutants #98) and often either teaming up to fight villains or just fighting each other.
In 2015, Deadpool founded the Mercs for Money. The team was a play on the Heroes for Hire, Luke Cage and Iron Fists original team of crimefighters who loaned out their services for cash. Instead of heroes though, the Mercs were comprised of D-List mercenaries like Foolkiller, Solo, Slapstick and Stingray. Shocking no-one, Deadpool proved to be a terrible boss and the rest of the team quit when he failed to pay them.
Domino would later form a second team consisting of Deadpool fanboy Massacre and the self-explanatory Gorilla-Man and Machine Man to help Wade save Negasonic Teenage Warhead (who was coincidentally revealed to be alive after being an insanely popular part of the Deadpool movie) from the Presence, a Russian supervillain who wanted to drain her powers.
Domino now leads the team which also added Deadpool, Negasonic and Hit-Monkey (again pretty self-explanatory, he's a monkey hitman) as members. With three members already a part of the Deadpool movies, it will be interesting to see if the team is ever featured or at least referenced on the big screen.
