RocksteadyBruce Wayne may be the peak of human physical and mental condition, but anything he can do Slade Wilson can do better (
cue musical number). Batman can bench half a ton? Deathstroke can lift twice that with ease. Tactical genius you say? Deathstroke
took out the entire Justice League of Identity Crisis comprised of Wally West, Elongated Man, Zatanna, Hawkman, Green Arrow, Black Canary, the Atom, and Kyle Rayner in a matter of seconds. And that was after Superman personally asked that he lead the forces of Earth against the impending invasion of Warworld. Unlike many other entries on this list, Deathstrokes not classified as superhuman; but he sure as hell acts like one.
DC ComicsKnown as the deadliest assassin in the DC universe, Slake Wilson A.K.A. Deathstroke the Terminator was a former soldier in the United States military who became the subject of super soldier experiments. These little tests turned out so splendidly that he ended up with enhanced speed and reflexes, the strength to kick through steel doors with ease, mental capacities exceeding that of the average human nine times over, and the ability to regenerate even normally fatal wounds (
think getting shot in the face) within hours. Trained extensively in military operations and the use of a near infinite variation of weaponry and martial arts forms, Deathstrokes a hell of a lot like a star-spangled fellow from the Marvel Universe except a lot more lethal. No wonder Batman got his caped ass handed to him, and on his home turf in Gotham no less, in
Deathstroke #8-9.
