Batman's already made meticulous plans centered around killing his friends and coworkers, might as well spy on them too.

After regaining the memory of the League wiping the minds of supervillains (a memory he only lost because those same League members proceeded to wipe his mind too) Batman decides that he can't trust anyone on the Justice League, and so creates Brother Eye, a secret spy satellite with a living AI that's programmed to keep tabs on superheroes.

Do I even need to tell you that it went crazy and tried to kill everyone?

You might be wondering what damage an AI designed ONLY to keep watch on superheroes would be able to do, since that sounds like a pretty limited functionality. Well apparently Brother Eye can somehow make half-human/half-robot monstrosities known as OMACs, which it then used to hunt down and kill the superheroes it was watching.

Putting aside the fact that AIs should only be able to accomplish that which they are programmed to have access to, so Batman clearly thought giving an AI named BROTHER FREAKING EYE access to a scary robot army was a good idea, this is one of the most egregious examples of Batman violating the privacy and agency of others for what he saw as the greater good.
