One of Batmans most infamous fights is also one of his shortest. In the pages of the comedy book Justice League International he dropped by to say hello to the team of second-stringers, inspiring reserve Green Lantern Guy Gardner to start running his mouth about the arrogance of The Dark Knight, how he didnt have any powers and sucked, etc. In response, Batman didnt bother with any verbal volleys back at him. He just punched Guy right in the face, knocking him out cold. Which the rest of the team mock Gardner for with for the rest of his life - ONE PUNCH! In theory, though, theres no way Batman should be able to take down a Green Lantern. The Caped Crusader is a highly trained individual, admittedly, but one who is lacking in superpowers. All you need to be a decent Green Lantern is some imagination, since the power rings they wield can create literally anything. Like a cage around Batman. Or an image of his dead parents. Were it not for the sucker punch, Guy wouldve won.
