10 Times Doctor Strange Outsmarted Everyone

The superhero Civil War took a lot out of most costumed crusaders - especially Doctor Strange, who would eventually end up aiding the renegade Avengers, despite his role as the Sorcerer Supreme meaning he was supposed to stay impartial.

Strange would play a key part in these rogue agents escaping the heroes chasing them, most crucially shown when Stephen created an illusion to distract the Mighty Avengers before teleporting his allies to the Sanctum Sanctorum. He even used his magic to conceal all of them when the Avengers arrived into the building.

Without Strange, the escaped heroes would have been caught eighteen times over - meaning the magician is technically responsible for outsmarting the Avengers a fair few times within the span of a mere few issues.
