There is a certain paranoia about the character because everyone (including the reader) is in fear that Brainy could turn to the dark side like his great great grandfather. However, working with the team gives Brainiac 5 good people to bounce off, giving him his own family that understands him no matter what.

Brainiac has appeared outside the comic books numerous times but Jesse Rath has given him the platform to become even more popular than his villainous ancestor in the Arrowverse. The actor’s quirky portrayal of the Coluon scientist is infectious, to say the least, not only portraying a curious yet arrogant superhero, but a serious force of nature when the time comes to it.
