Professor X has done a lot of messed up stuff during his time on this Earth, but then, he started early. In fact he started before he was even born, as revealed in the Grant Morrison/Frank Quitely All New X-Men series that introduced Cassandra Nova, Xavier's previously unheard of twin sister, Cassandra Nova. So why had we not caught word of this badly female villain that shared DNA with the X-Men's fearless/awful leader before then? Why, because Xavier himself had done his level best to murder her. WHILST THEY WERE BOTH STILL IN THE WOMB. Supposedly this was because the baby Chuck, who had somehow already developed psychic powers before, y'know, arms and legs and stuff, sensed that the similarly infant Cassandra was "evil". Which seems to me like a pretty subjective thing, and the nature vs nurture, are you born evil debate is still raging in psychology. How did he know she was gonna be born a baddy? Would she have been necessarily? Well regardless, Nova lived on through some psychic mumbo-jumbo and went on to decimate the mutant nation of Genosha, effectively killing the majority of the world's mutant population, to get back at her estranged bro. So those deaths are all Xavier's bad. That jerk.
