10 Times Superheroes Fought The WRONG Villain

6. Batman And The Reverse Flash - The Flash: The Button

There are generally two heroes' rogues galleries that most heroes just would not last long against: Superman's and Flash's. Clark and Barry are two of the heaviest hitters the DC universe has to offer, so if someone can last even five minutes against them, it's safe to say most other heroes would be up the creek without a boat, much less a paddle.

So along came the infamous crossover between The Flash and Batman and prelude to Doomsday Clock: The Button. Where the greatest enemy of The Flash - The Reverse Flash - comes to tangle with Batman.

For story reasons we don't have time to get into, The Reverse Flash ends up in the Batcave, because when you're as fast as The Flash and without the handicap of silly things like "morals", you can kinda just go wherever you want.

While Barry does contribute to this fight as well, Batman spends a pretty long time taking Reverse Flash all on his lonesome, just barely surviving the fight with the evil speedster, but managing to get the drop on him more than once because - well - this IS Batman on his home turf, of course he has a trick or two up his sleeve for this.
