10 Times Superman Fought Other Superheroes (And Who Won)

The figures in the Roman and Greek pantheons have always been featured in the panels of DC comics. Some like Artemis and Hercules have gone to become popular heroes in their own right, while others like Hades have become prominent villains in their respective heroes rogues galleries

Unfortunately for Superman, Atlas was the former and not the latter. In The Coming of Atlas, the Greek hero comes to earth and fights 'The Man of Steel'. Superman does his best fight back but he is completely outmatched by Atlas.

However, before Atlas could deliver the final blow, Superman's faithful dog, Krypto, steps in to defend his master. Though Atlas is defeated in the end, Superman was not the winner of this fight.
