Between being shot by Hawkeye, being decapitated by Captain America's shield, and countless other attempts the Avengers have made on the Hulk's life, it's perhaps no surprise that the green beast and his scientist sidekick have some trust issues.

Indeed, while it's understandable that people want to stop a threat like the Hulk for good, it doesn't stop trying to kill him in cold blood being a legitimately awful move, as generally all the Hulk really wants is to be left alone - which is something we can likely all relate to on some level or another.

When there's no other option but to stop the Hulk by murdering him, that's fine. But when you're trick-shotting him to his death when he's doing nothing wrong, that seems pretty solidly messed up. Friends don't brutally murder friends, after all - especially on a whim.
