5. Trying To Kill Him - Justice League: Origin
As DC's New 52 event rebooted the entire universe, it makes sense that the Justice League would have to be reunited once more. What doesn't make sense, however, is that the Flash, Green Latern, and Batman would decide to try and wail on the Man of Steel, right up until they realise there's no way they can take him down.
It's even weirder, because Superman repeatedly says things that make it clear that he thinks they are part of the parademon forces he's been fighting off - and yet our noble heroes decide to try and beat him up just a little before actually explaining that they aren't bad guys.
While having them all fight is a particularly interesting way to begin this run of the Justice League, it does also come with the solid implication that they're all just a swing and a miss away from trading dramatic heroic punches once more.
