10 Twisted Comic Book Telepaths You Don't Want Inside Your Head
2. Thanos (Marvel)
First Appearance: Iron Man #55 Very few people really think of Thanos as a telepath, but he certainly is one - and a damn powerful one at that. The reason he isn't really associated with telepathy is because he has so many other powers and rarely displays his psionic abilities. He is superhumanly strong to the point that he makes Hulk seem weak, he is durable to the extent that it is nearly impossible to physically hurt him, he is fast enough to react to a lightspeed assault by the Silver Surfer and possesses a number of more exotic powers like matter transmutation, teleportation, energy blasts and a resistance to reality warping. However, his telepathy was actually potent enough to battle Moondragon in a telepathic duel - Moondragon being a character with Charles Xavier-levels of telepathy. Thanos is a power-hungry, genius, insane mutant (from Titan, not Earth) who is obsessed with death. He is far too messed up and far too powerful to even contemplate what would happen if he got in to your head.
