10 Twisted Comic Book Telepaths You Don't Want Inside Your Head
4. Onslaught (Marvel)
First Appearance: X-Man #15 When Magneto's Acolytes were battling the X-Men, Magneto brutally assaulted Wolverine by tearing out the adamantium from his body. So fierce was the attack that Wolverine's healing factor completely burned itself out and it angered Xavier to the point that he completely shut down Magneto's mind and left him catatonic. This violent meeting of Magneto and Xavier's minds meant that all of the anger, grief and vengeful feelings in Magneto's head entered Xavier's consciousness and merged with all the suppressed negative feelings Xavier had stored away for thirty years. The resulting occurrence was the manifestation of the evil being known as Onslaught - and an evil entity created by the consciousness of two of the most powerful mutants in Marvel is always going to be trouble. Onslaught went on to erase people's memories, hide inside Xavier's mind in order to keep himself safe and gain information, took over Xavier's body to instruct the X-Men in to doing his bidding and even created a deceptive projection in the form of a child to gain the powerful Franklin Richards' trust. Someone who is evil and who can so easily control a powerful telepath like Charles Xavier is not someone that you want to touch your mind.
