10 Uncomfortable “Adult” Comic Book Moments

Hank and Janet's relationship has no shortage of deeply troubling moments. Their on and off marriage could fill a whole list on its own, though nothing quite topped this.

The two had been divorced for years after the domestic violence incident but had worked hard to rebuild their relationship. So, as the passion returned, writer Geoff Johns decided it was time to bring a little R-rated content to The Avengers.

During a much-needed vacation to Vegas, the couple lock themselves in a hotel room for three whole days doing things that would make your nan faint. Cue one of the most infamous pages in comic book history.

There is very little left to the imagination after the previous panels featured Janet, off page, screaming for Hank to stop as she can take no more. Clearly that wasn't enough, as we see Janet lift up the covers as a sticky, shrunken, naked Hank Pym emerges from her cleavage.

The page has since been removed from digital issues and reprints; however, the rest of the book is hardly redeeming. The villain of the series attempts to sexually assault Janet, before a fully naked, giant sized Hank Pym takes him down.
