10 Underrated Supervillains Who Deserved Better

For a character with a name so badass it'd suit a heavy metal band, Annihilus is tragically underused.

The fact that his official titles - 'Lord of the Negative Zone', and 'The Living Death That Walks' - are also so unashamedly hardcore that it's a legitimate tragedy that Annihilus isn't featured far more often, as a far more major villain.

This is made doubly true by Annihilus' intentions, which are to conquer or destroy literally every planet he comes into contact with, picking either the former or the latter based on how he's feeling at that particular moment.

Due to this slightly dramatic goal, he's come into conflict with superheroes on a fairly frequent rate, yet despite this has never really managed to be a long-time major opponent for any particular hero or group.

While this is somewhat inevitable, as Marvel are fairly well stocked in the villain department, the potential for a huge, bug-like hell-beast with at least seven cool names to serve as a nemesis for someone is still incredibly real.
