10 Villains Doctor Doom Utterly Destroyed
7. Fights Off All Of KISS At Once - KISS: 1977 Marvel Comics Super Special #1
Sure, Thanos, Galactus and Mephisto are all well and good, but what happens when you pit Doom against the forces of late seventies glam metal?
KISS: 1977 Marvel Comics Super Special #1 might be one of the strangest comics ever put to print. Although the band are the protagonists of this issue, it can be argued that KISS are the villains, with Gene Simmons spitting fire into a crowd and attempting to eat people with his shoes. In addition, for a comic advertising KISS so heavily, it seems oddly hostile towards KISS, with the Invisible Woman even calling them evil and the Thing calling them ugly. Also, the comic is inked in the band's actual blood. That's pretty evil.
After four youths are transformed into KISS by a wizard, Doom arrives to New York to harness their power for reasons. After some shenanigans involving hell-portals, robot monks and a mouth mountain, Doom confronts the band in space and promptly kicks all their asses, until Paul Stanley causes Doom to remember his terrible childhood and banish KISS in anger.
When even the forces of KISS cannot fully defeat Doom in their own comic, you know that he is truly a force to be reckoned with.
