7. Mole-Man (Extremely Near-Sighted)
An American nuclear engineer and explorer, Mole Man AKA Harvey Elder was shunned by society due to his abrasive personality and weird appearance - and this contributed to his turning in to a bitter villain. He is the original Fantastic Four foe and he possesses a genius level intellect to somewhat rival the groups science expert Reed Richards, whilst also possessing fairly formidable combat skills with a staff - and this is all in spite of the fact that he can barely see past his own nose thanks to an incident in which he stared directly in to some highly reflective diamond deposits. Such is his genius that he possesses knowledge of technology centuries beyond conventional scientific development. He was able to master alien principles of technology that were totally foreign to his culture and environment. Like so many other characters with poor eyesight, his other senses have naturally compensated to the degree that they are heightened to almost superhuman levels and this aids him when it comes to physically throwing down. He wields staves that were designed for him by the Mad Thinker and they contain devices and gadgetry such as ranged weaponry to make him even more dangerous in combat.
