10 Wacky Alternate DC Comics Universes That Need Exploration
8. Earth 8 The MARVELous World
Avengers Assem I mean Retaliators Ready! Throughout comic history, DC and Marvel have had a very peculiar, symbiotic relationship. This is brought to the forefront with Earth 8: a section of the DC Multiverse devoted to Marvel analogues. Instead of the Hulk, theres the bestial Behemoth; not the Fantastic Four, but the Future Family; no sign of Captain America, though youll find American Crusader. In other parts of the DC Multiverse, these heroes stories arent published by Marvel Comics theyre published by Major Comics. While Morrison created this universe simply for the purpose of meta-commentary, we cant help but think that this MARVELous World would be a great place for DC to explore their relationship with their Major Comics rival.
Since childhood, Bryant has been an avid fan of superheroes, and he has been reading comic books since 2006. His full name is "George Bryant Lucas"; however, after enduring countless Darth Vader jokes, he has chosen to go by his middle name. Born and raised in the United States, Bryant is currently living with his lovely wife in the country side of Wiltshire County, UK. Bryant does suffer from a mild case of dyslexia; misspellings and homonyms are to be expected on occasion.
