One of the concerns brought up during debates about immigration is that of the in-taking society not being able to absorb a sudden inflow of foreigners. For decades, humanity believed Superman to be the sole survivor of explosion of Krypton. But in the course of just a few years, we've met his cousin Supergirl, the hundreds of Kryptonian criminals housed in the Phantom Zone, and the six million miniaturised Kryptonians trapped in the bottle city of Kandor. We also know of Kryptonians from parallel dimensions(!) who have migrated to our Earth. How long will it be before this Power Girl is followed by more of her kind seeking refuge from whatever disaster forced her to pierce the membrane between realities?
