9. One More Day
Long story short: In order to save the life of a comatose, mortally wounded Aunt May, Peter essentially made a deal with Mephisto (as close as it gets to the devil in the MCU) to trade his entire marriage to Mary Jane in a mystic exchange. That Peter held himself responsible for the assassin who shot Aunt May by order of the Kingpin is entirely beside the point. Peter Parker would never have sold MJ out to the devil under any circumstances not even to spare his beloved Aunt. Like many fans, I viewed this action as a complete betrayal of Peter's character and integrity.
