Hope you like terrible animal puns because we're in for a lot of them.

Depending on the origin story, Peter Porker is either a pig who was bitten by a radioactive spider or a spider who was bitten by a radioactive pig. Either way, he gained superpowers and began fighting crime as the Spectacular Spider-Ham.

Ham lives on an earth populated by anthropomorphic animal versions of Marvel characters. He frequently teams up with heroes like Deerdevil and Captain Americat and fights enemies like Ducktor Doom, Raven the Hunter and his archenemy, the evil turkey known as the Green Gobbler.

Spider-Ham was seemingly killed when he accidentally visited the Marvel Zombies Universe. He was bitten by a zombie and shot in the head by Ultron, but came back to life as the murderous Ham-ibal Lecter.

Another version of Ham took part in Spider-Verse. He helped stop the Inheritor's plan to destroy the Web of Life that holds the multiverse together by rescuing Benjy Parker (the infant son of another Spider-Man) before they could sacrifice him.

Afterwards, he joined Spider-UK, Spider-Gwen, Spider-Girl, Spider-Man Noir and Spider-Man India in forming the Web Warriors, a group of alternate reality spider heroes who protect the multiverse.
