6. Archie Vs. Predator
The wholesome adventures All-American teen Archie Andrews have been a staple of the comic book world for decades. In that time, he's met some pretty interesting characters, real-world celebrities and... the Predator.
The darkly hilarious Archie vs. Predator sees the intergalactic hunter come to Riverdale to hunt America's favourite teen and his friends. Over the course of four issues, it hunts down and kills characters like Jughead and Reggie until only Archie and his love interests Betty and Veronica are left.
That's not even the weird part. The Predator eventually managed to kill Archie and revealed that its entire motivation was that it had a crush on Betty. Betty used that as an opportunity to knock the alien (not to be confused with Alien) out and hook it up to a healing machine that Veronica conveniently had lying around the house. The machine rewrote the Predator's DNA, turning him into a perfect copy of Archie.
It's a completely left-field ending, even for a comic as bizarre as this. It also ensured that Archie vs. Predator earned a spot on this list over the almost as insane Archie Meets the Punisher, in which Frank Castle mistakes Archie for a notorious drug dealer and nearly kills him.
