10 Weirdest Comic Crossovers Of All Time

Avengers vs Pet Avengers would almost be totally normal if it was a regular crossover. But it’s a versus comic, and so the fight element really changes the whole thing from conventional crossover to an absolutely manic scenario.

This mania is increased by roughly 1000 percent by the fact that for a good half of the comic, the Avengers are not fighting the Pet Avengers, but instead dragons. Oh, and also Captain America, Iron Man, and Thor are frogs.

There’s already a Frog Thor in the Pet Avengers, so we end the first issue with four frog warriors, two mutant dogs, and a whole bunch of dragons – as well as probably a bit of a headache from trying to work out whether you’re reading an elaborate April Fool’s Prank.

Despite all this, any comic that features Frog Thor as a main character has to be at least semi-acceptable, if only because it includes our little green saviour.
