10 Weirdest Comic Crossovers Of All Time

7. Army Of Darkness: Ash Saves Obama

What’s weirder: that Obama starred in an Army of Darkness crossover, or that it isn’t the only comic book starring Obama? You decide.

Either way, the most surreal experience of all time has to be witnessing the 44th President of the United States as not only a comic character, but a comic character who only appears properly in the last issue of a comic starring him, and even then, only for the last couple pages.

It does create an admittedly badass ending, but mostly because you’ve likely spent the last couple issues wondering when one half of the two characters in the title is actually going to do anything.

Ash Saves Obama is one of those ideas that is just weird enough to work, but the missed opportunity to have Obama murder endless zombies with a chainsaw or something similar does leave a gaping hole in the potential this crossover did have.
