10 Weirdest Parts Of Cosmic Marvel Comics

9. 16-Dimensional Space

Who knew that something as seemingly simple as superhero comics could be the repository for so much conceptual, experimental fictional mythology and creation stories? Not only is there Galactus as an agent of destruction and renewal who is seen subjectively by all races he comes into contact with, he€™s just part of a huge group of so-called €œcosmic beings€. Never officially named in the comics, the fan-named cosmic entities possess powers far beyond ordinary humans (and far beyond most superheroes, too), some are so powerful as to be able to affect the entire space-time multiversal reality. They came into play during the Marvel Vs DC crossover, or in the build up to Secret Wars when they all got killed. It€™s not enough that there€™s heaps of weird and wonderful space gods floating around the cosmos in the Marvel Universe. No, some of them are so powerful that they hang out in 16-dimensional space. We live in a three-dimensional space. Arguably, comics characters exist in two-dimensions. Just let your head spin like that for a while.
