For a good guy, Scott Summers has a really bad past with raising kids - more specifically his kid, Nathan Summers.
Not only does he totally abandon his wife and child at the first sign Jean Grey is back, but he totally forgets to check in on them, despite the fact his wife is Grey’s clone (it’s complicated).
Not only that, but when he finally decides to actually spend time with his kid, it’s to take him on missions – you know, life-threatening superhero missions, aka the perfect place for a child.
Honestly, it’s a surprise that Nathan - who grows up to be Cable - didn't turn out significantly worse.
