7. Super-Spliting-In-Two
Hey, what's better than one Superman? How about two?! This has happened a whole bunch of times in Superman's history and it has never made sense once. First, in the 50s TV show, Adventures of Superman. In an episode called 'Divide and Conquer' (fnah fnah), in order to escape from a prison cell and foil a coup in a Latin American country, Superman splits into two Supermen, because of 'molecules'. However, the two Supermen will be weaker individually than one Superman whole. Sounds legit. Quick question: when the two reform, does one of them die? Second, in Superman III, the big blue boyscout is battling with his evil side after being exposed to naughty Kryptonite. What best way to solve this problem? Clark Kent simply walks out of Superman and becomes his own separate person. He then strangles Bad Superman to death. This is not an imagination thing, the two men knock each other into stuff and the stuff moves, they're physical beings. WHAT IS HAPPENING? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sfe5drzybRU Finally, when Superman goes through his 90s phase of being 'Extreeeeeeeme', he becomes electric Superman. No, wait. Make that TWO electric Supermen. One blue, one red (see above). Blue likes to think about things. Red like to punch things. That storyline is rubbish.
