10 Worst Superman Powers Of All Time

6. Super-Aging-Breath

Super Aging Breath Superman's breath has been a part of his arsenal for decades. With a single expulsion of his mighty lungs, he can blow over trucks, and by 'compressing the air in his lungs' he can cool his breath down enough to freeze targets in their tracks. Wouldn't compressing the air make it hotter NEVER MIND But did you know that Superman's breath has one more exciting characteristic? It can age wood. No, wait, come back. In Action Comics #269 (1960), Lois gets sent a 'Truth Mirror' that for some reason shows people as they truly are. A little lost child comes to the door and the mirror reveals him to be a midget burglar. Never trust children. While saving her from this diminutive danger, the mirror reveals Superman to be, who else, Clark Kent. Realising what's up, Superman, while Lois isn't looking, inscribes "This Mirror Tells The Truth, but It May Also Lie To You!" into the wood, but WAIT, DAMMIT, THOSE SCRATCHES WILL LOOK NEW. Breath to the rescue! Using his superpowers of aging wood by breathing on it, Superman is able to make the inscription look old and trick Lois into breaking this 'fake' mirror. Superman is a master of interior decorating, and a dab hand at forging antiques. How does breath age matter? Then presumably he coquettishly blew the mirror debris off Lois's forehead and she immediately died.
