10 Worst Superpowers Of The 21st Century

6. Bunker

It's long since established that telekinesis is a pretty useful power. In addition to moving other objects, it can grant a character the ability to levitate or fly, create force-fields, redirect energy, and even warp reality (hello, Jean Grey), but because it's such a nebulous, and often overly powerful ability, many writers try to introduce more rigid rules of how it functions for specific characters.

This, combined with the fact that drawing someone moving an object with the power of their minds poses a particular challenge to artist, has led to a few rather interesting variations on the power.

Bunker has the dubious honour of being the first mainstream homosexual Hispanic character. And, as unique a combination as that is, he has a rather unique ability. Bunker has the ability to generate telekinetic... bricks. On the face of it, this limits him to a defensive role, building shields to protect those around him. But the character can also wrap his fists in psychic-brick gloves, enhancing his strength, levitate by building structures underneath his body, and even crush his enemies between two telekinetic walls.

But however they try to dress it up, the boy's power is still making bricks with his mind.

With a (nearly) useless degree in English literature and a personal trainer qualification he's never used, Freddie spends his times writing things that he hopes will somehow pay the rent. He's also a former professional singer, and plays the saxophone and ukulele. He's not really used to talking about himself in the third person, and would like to stop now, thanks.
