10 Worst Things Captain Marvel Has Ever Done
4. Trying To Kill All Versions Of Herself (and Rogue) - Ms.Marvel (Vol. 2) #10
The grudge between Captain Marvel and Rogue is a longstanding one - one that stretches back as far as some of Rogue's earliest days in comics, where she would absorb the powers of a young Danvers, causing the hero significant physical and psychological trauma.
While the main universe's version of Captain Marvel would eventually settle her differences peacefully with Rogue when the latter reformed, many of her alternate selves were not quite this lucky. In fact, one version of the good Captain would hold such a strong vendetta against Anna Marie that she sought to kill not just the Rogue from her universe, but also from every other existing universe, intermittently killing any other Captain Marvel that tried to stop her.
Although it technically only counts as two murders, the fact that Danvers had clearly murdered multiple versions of both herself and Rogue is pretty messed up - and particularly telling, as it suggests the only person she hates as much as Rogue is herself.
