10 Worst Things DC Has Ever Done To Harley Quinn
4. Making Her A Hyena
Although a certain niche category of Harley fans were sure to be over the moon at her transformation, it's pretty safe to say the vast majority of fans were left in silent horror at the Harley/Hyena hybrid that appeared within the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles/Batman 2016 crossover.
This transformation alone would have been creepy enough, but it's made worlds worse by the fact that all the other villains don't look like fresh horrors in their transformed form, and it's somehow literally only Harley that looks like a series of marshmallows half-melted into an arts and crafts project.
While an animal-based redesign could go far worse - as anyone who has looked at the 2019 Cats trailer is well aware of - there's still something incredibly off about this design that doesn't quite sit right.
Mercifully, it's not a version of Harley we have to see for very long, as she is taken out in the next page of the comic - although you may be seeing her in your nightmares for far longer.
