To paraphrase an iconic quote, "You can tell a lot about a person by how many supervillains they hang around with". In the comic world, few characters demonstrate this notion more than Namor. Because he's been a part of every main super team, the Submariner would like to believe he fights for good.

However, the first person he ever allied with with under the Marvel banner was Doctor Doom. (The name "Doom" is in the name. How could he not figure out he's a bad guy?)

Now, after Namor got chummy with the Fantastic Four, Captain America, and the other heroes, you'd think he would burn his bridges with Doom.

But not only did Namor team up with the Latverian monarch multiple times, he joined forces with more supervillains!! When Norman Osborn asked him to be a part of his Cabal, Namor accepted before hearing the whole proposal. After the Cabal was destroyed and Osborn was locked up, you'd assume Namor would think twice about who he partnered up with.
