10 Worst Things Reed Richards Has Ever Done

6. Backed The Registration Act

Now, in fairness to Reed, nobody comes out of Civil War looking good. Everyone crosses various moral lines that inform the next decade of stories surrounding them due to those lines being so morally egregious that you have to wonder what they were all thinking when they did what they did.

In Reed's case, we at least know WHY he backed the registration act when it was introduced by the US government. Reed was looking at things from the perspective of Asimovian Psychohistory, which predicts the future behaviors of crowds through the lenses of history, sociology, and mathematical statistics. The way Reed saw it, way more people would have died in various ensuing conflicts if the registration act had not passed.

Which is definitely a very good reason for the backing of the act itself. Less so for the actions he takes after that inciting incident. I'll get to the two biggest ones soon, but even barring those, backing the registration act helps set into motion all the other horrible stuff done by people besides him, so he definitely shares the blame somewhat there.
