10 Worst Things Robin Has Ever Done To Batman
9. Damian Leaves - Batman And Robin #2 (2011)
Bruce and Damian Wayne's relationship is one of constant strain and attrition, with even the best, most amicable periods likely to collapse into chaos.
Beginning in the pages of 2011's Batman and Robin Volume #2, when Morgan Ducard, son of Bruce's former mentor Henri Ducard (the name taken by Liam Neeson's character in Batman Begins, in case you were wondering why it rang a bell), arrives on the scene in the guise of vigilante Nobody, he attempts to lure Damian to his side with promises of vengeance and a better, more ruthless approach to defeating Gotham's criminal element.
Damian accepts, abandoning his father and joining Nobody's murderous crusade.
Handing Damian a gun and challenging him to shoot dead a corrupt ambassador, Ducard wanted to see if Damian held the same unshakeable values and subscribed as strictly to the "no killing" rule as his father does.
Damian pulls the trigger, but the gun was never loaded.
Just a test.
Not only does Damian abandon his father to set up shop with a murderer, but by pulling the trigger - regardless of the outcome - he shows once again that the blood of Ra's al Ghul is very much alive in him, and callously disregards the single most profound tenet Batman has tried to enforce from day one.
