7. Sending Members To Their Deaths - Far Sector
If there's one thing that the new Green Lantern series Far Sector establishes, it's that members who are sent to far away parts of the galaxy to patrol get basically no help from the rest of the team - instead offered a ring and a cheeky wave as they go to what easily could be their own demise.
But really, why isn't there a check-in system for those placed lightyears away from their homes and the world that they understand? Almost every single Green Lantern who has a breakdown has one due to being unable to cope with the strains of the job, which are definitely made worse by being a million lightyears away from anywhere even remotely familiar. Yet somehow, it's 'all part of the job' for these Lanterns, who have clearly drawn the short straw in the proverbial Green Lantern lottery.
This isn't to say that the Lanterns need an on-site therapist for every member, but it seems like checking in on them vaguely consistently would solve roughly eight tenths of all of their problems.
