8. He Pushed Her Out Of A Window
Famously, Harley Quinn started off as a character on the Batman cartoon series before making the jump over to comics. It's only right then, that we include one of that show's cruellest Joker moments.
In the episode Mad Love of The New Batman Adventures, Harley tried to prove herself to Joker and give him a surprise gift by killing Batman for him. She took one of his failed blueprints for a deathtrap and "fixed" it by hanging the Dark Knight above a tank full of piranhas so that it would look like the fish were smiling.
Harley nearly succeeded, but the Joker wasn't exactly happy when he found out. After all, he considers himself to be the Clown Prince of Crime and so felt threatened that someone else was trying to improve his jokes. Realising what was about to happen, Harley grabbed a swordfish to defend herself with. Joker simply grabbed it from her though and used it as a club to knock her out of a window.
There was a pile of rubbish below that broke her fall, but Harley was still badly injured. Plus, it would be generous to assume that Joker put any thought into what was going to happen to her once she went out the window.
