5. Tortured Spider-Man
The Ultimate Universe version of the Kingpin was much the same as his counterpart and was one of Spider-Man's greatest foes. Eventually, Spidey tried to take him down for good by joining Daredevil, Doctor Strange, Shang-Chi, Moon Knight and Iron Fist to form the Marvel Knights.
The Knights' plan involved having Moon Knight infiltrate Kingpin's gang as the villainous Ronin. To really sell it, Ronin brought an unconscious Spider-Man to Fisk as proof of his loyalty.
However, the plan fell apart when Fisk revealed he already knew Ronin was Moon Knight. While Kingpin had his men beat Moon Knight close to death, he strapped Spider-Man to a chair, tortured him and unmasked him. He then threatened to reveal Spider-Man's identity to the world if he ever got in his way again.
After Iron Fist was revealed to have betrayed the team (Kingpin was holding his daughter hostage), Daredevil made another attempt on Fisk and threatened to kill his wife if he didn't leave the country. In retaliation, Fisk planned a series of revenge attacks which would have involved breaking Doctor Strange's hands, killing Daredevil and, worst of all, blowing up Peter Parker's school.
Before he could do any of that though, Moon Knight turned himself in to the police and had Fisk arrested on attempted murder charges.
