11 Hotly Anticipated Comic Books Still To Come In 2019
6. Under The Moon: A Catwoman Tale
Due to drop at the start of May, Under the Moon is set to be one of the first releases in DC's new Ink line of comic books. These graphic novels will be aimed at a younger audience and this is obvious from the setting of A Catwoman Tale.
It will follow a 14-year-old Selina Kyle as she tries to survive on the brutal streets of Gotham, and will show the trials and tribulations she had to go through to become the master thief she is today.
Authored by Lauren Myracle, a fixture of the New York Times bestseller list, DC Ink has a possible blockbuster on its hands as Myracle has a very successful track record when it comes to writing for a teen based audience, and though there hasn't really been a great deal of art pre-released as yet, what has been shown is simply stunning in it's design and use of simplistic colour.
A graduate of the DC Talent Development Workshops, Issac Goodhart might not be a familiar name to most but if he brings the same style he uses on Image Comics "Postal" with him, then the artwork will more than compliment the story.
