Slade Wilson's entire career and occupation is based around him being able to kill off anyone at any time, and to achieve this he becomes one of the most highly trained assassins in the world. Yes, he does have superhuman strength, agility, and stamina, as well as having a rather nifty healing factor on which to fall back on, but he's also trained to the gills in weapons, explosives, tactics, and fisticuffs.
While other villains on this list flip-flop between good and evil Slade's bread is always buttered on the side of whoever gives him the largest offer, and as heroes never seem too eager to hire mercenaries then it's always the bad guys that pay his bills.
Starting out as a thorn in the Teen Titans side, it's not that long before Deathstroke is taking on all comers of DC's heroes, whether that's Batman, Nightwing, the Birds of Prey, the Justice League - the list is endless; as long as the money's right, then everyone's a target.
He may currently be as dead as corduroy flares but don't let that fool you. When the time's right, Slade's return is going to leave a lot of bodies in its wake.
