11 WTF Moments From The Suicide Squad

7. I Need A Dollar, Dollar, Dollar Is What I Need (Suicide Squad #43)

Amanda Waller is an intimidating women who is as equally smart as she is ruthless but she€™s not entirely above the law. During the Phoenix Gambit, an awesome story-line written by Ostrander, Waller finally gained her comeuppance when she was taken into custody for being continually reluctant to submit to higher authorities. Also, she had a whole ton of people assassinated by a guy called Captain Boomerang, which will only have you laughed right the f*ck out of heaven. After being imprisoned for a year, Sarge Steel, the guy who took over Waller€™s position, offers her the chance to get out of jail and reassemble the Squad, if she can swallow her pride and work with Batman to avert a clash between American and Soviet forces in war-torn Vlatava. William Heller, a white supremacist who founded the Aryan Empire (where Neo Nazi€™s would plan ways to further their racist ideologies while eating their sushi with a fork) offers Deadshot a contract to take out Waller. Deadshot takes him up on the offer and confronts his former boss in a tense scene. However, Deadshot knew Heller as a child and had not one iota of love for him because a Nazi is a Nazi. Waller knows this and provides a counteroffer to Lawton; she€™ll match whatever amount Heller stated and give him one whole extra dollar to take Heller out instead. Amanda Waller, the baller of the DC universe. Deadshot accepts her proposition and leaves to air-out Heller like a lazy person€™s dirty underwear.
