12 Lego Sets Every Marvel Fan Needs
7. Ant-Man Final Battle (76039)
This is what each Lego superhero set should be: a hero, a villain, a meaningful side build, and call it a day. This tie-in for 2015’s Ant-Man made the best of its opportunity.
The minifigs are the heart of the set, with Ant-Man, of course, and Yellowjacket along with Hank Pym in his original Ant-Man suit.
It should be noted, though, that Lego works from concept art long before films are ready, so slight differences are bound to occur. For example, the Ant-Man helmets have open mouthpieces. Scott Lang’s goofy grin can be seen, though, which is actually a plus. Yellowjacket’s suit is a little dark and washed out, too, not vibrant like in the film.
And then there’s the Antony side build. Gone but not forgotten, Scott’s little buddy is the perfect addition to this set and allows for great posing while boosting play potential.
All in all, it’s a solid mid-level set for a solid mid-level MCU film.
